BTS Member Jin to Be Released from Military on June 12th

Big Hit Music, the label of popular K-pop group BTS, has officially announced that Jin, the group's eldest member, will be released from his mandatory military service on June 12th, 2023.

Jin will be discharged from the military on June 12th and is expected to meet fans at BTS Festa, the group's annual celebration of their debut anniversary. The event is scheduled to take place on June 13th and 14th.

Jin was the first member of BTS to enlist in the military, having joined the 5th Infantry Division in December 2022. As the eldest member of the group, he was required to serve under South Korea's mandatory military service law.

His release marks a significant milestone for BTS and their fans, known as ARMYs. With Jin's return, the group will reunite after a nearly two-year hiatus while members fulfilled their military obligations.
